How to people normally start their first blog post? I have no clue... I suppose it just be describing yourself and an introduction to the blog? Well that's what you're going to get from me.
Hey i'm Sophie. After a few years of going to university, not really sure of what i was wanting to do with my life, changing my course just a few times ended up leaving, moving back home working two both nearly full time jobs, going travelling to Canada coming back, i feel like i now know what i'm wanting to do at least for now with my life. I find it so strange that some people at the age of 12 if not younger know exactly what they want to do with their life and go on to do that career and still love it, yet other like myself and many more have know clue we either hop from job to job in different fields to try to fathom out what we enjoy and are wanting to do.
Come October I will be starting my degree off something that i'm interesting it and actually want to take it further, I still have one of the jobs that I had previous to travelling and probably a bit of spare time hopefully to write this blog.
I love TV shows, movies and books although i am miles behind on current ones I do have a list of them to watch and read so hopefully with some of the free time I'll be able to do that and review them on here even though by the time I get round to writing them they will be past the hype of being new. Although there are still some shows that I am up to date with so with a certain few they be in the right timeline for you.
My first set of reviews, a TV show that has been out for 11 years and I have never seen. Now when I went travelling whilst on the plane they have three episodes of this show and from the first 10 minutes of the first show, well it was an episode from season 9, I feel in love with it. Now as much as I love TV shows and do watch a number of different shows I very rarely love a show, I can count on one hand these shows. I just couldn't believe i'd never seen it before, I'd heard about it and the leading actor i'm in love with so why hadn't I watched it before? The show i'm talking about is Bones on American Fox. Now if you've lived under a cloud or not seen it, then it's a American crime procedural drama based on forensic anthropology and forensic archaeology, each episode focuses on an FBI case surrounding a mystery involving human remains. FBI Special Agent Seeley Booth (played by David Boreanaz) and forensic anthropologist Dr Temperance Brennan (Emily Deschanel) team up together to solve these murders. The show is based loosely around author and real forensic anthropologist Kathy Reichs life, she is also a producer on the show.
Apart from the three episodes that I saw on the plane, I haven't watch any other episodes, haven't had any spoilers, so the people that watch it and read this will know so much more than me but i'll catch up. So i'm going to start right from the beginning and review right through for you. I know I have until next year before the final season starts so i'll see how it goes then I might be able to do a review live but i'll see how it goes.
Until next time,
Sophie
